If you are looking for the skills to do a wedding or event for the first time - Wedding flowers or DIY event is the perfect course for complete beginners with no practical floristry skills. If you know exactly what you have in mind this course will give you the skills to bring your vision to life. You will be shown the importance of conditioning your flowers, when to order, how to order, how to store your flowers, the stages of wedding flower/events, techniques and theory to complete your very own popular designs, finishing touches and presentation. There will be demonstrations with top tips and advice, the classes are kept small (at a maximum of 7) there is plenty of 1-1 tuition on hand.
 
All materials will be provided and you will be able to take home the arrangements you make.
*Flowers provided in the course will be at the florists choice and subject to availability.
 
Light refreshments are provided.
 
A starter tool kit with tools, a notebook and pen are available to purchase.
 
Plenty of opportunities to photograph your work to start building your portfolio.

I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (an apron shall be available to wear).
