Floristry course 4
Wiring and gauge wire kit, wreath wiring materials, parafilm tape techniques.
Practical : Flower crown and hoop wreath.
 
I was extremely lucky that my floristry teacher was very old school which mean't I was taught the most technical skills of floristry. Having this knowledge has helped me recover, fix or support flowers and create the most beautiful and secure pieces of floristry.
 
You can choose to do this course with or without your very own gauge wire kit. I will teach you how to use all the different size gauge wire's and how to use parafilm tape. Wiring techniques are extremely useful in wedding floristry (ie. buttonholes, flowers crowns, corsages) and wreath making - amazing for Christmas wreath making.
 
All materials will be provided and you will be able to take home the arrangements you make.
*Flowers provided in the course will be at the florists choice and subject to availability.
 
Light refreshments are provided.
 
A gauge wire tool kit, a notebook and pen are provided and yours to keep.
 
Plenty of opportunities to photograph your work to start building your portfolio.

I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (an apron shall be available to wear).
